Qiblify — Privacy Policy

Summary

Qiblify does not require accounts and does not collect personal data. Location access is used locally on the device solely to compute the Qibla direction and the approximate distance to Mecca. There are no servers, profiles, or remote storage.

What we process

• Location Services: used on‑device to compute bearing and distance. Data is NOT shared and never leaves the device.
• Sensor data (compass/orientation): used locally to determine true/magnetic north and stabilize the arrow. Not used for analytics.

Purpose

The only purpose is to display a correct Qibla direction. The app has no accounts, social/sharing features, or backups.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent to grant location permissions (iOS/watchOS prompt). You can revoke it anytime in system settings.

Storage & security

• No long‑term storage: values are used transiently for on‑screen calculations.
• No transfer to external servers; Qiblify performs no cloud backups.
• Security is provided by the OS sandbox (iOS/watchOS) and the app’s limited permissions.

Sharing with third parties

We do not share data with third parties. There are no analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.

Your rights

Since Qiblify does not collect personal data or operate servers, your GDPR/CCPA rights mainly apply via iOS/watchOS controls: you can manage location permissions from Settings.
